Greetings everyone. No, we haven’t deserted the ship – or the cause! Just been away for a while, visiting the rellies in Melbum. A mixed pleasure – it’s nice to see family but when you have an older sibling who thinks ‘Laurie Oakes is a bit of a leftie” (I kid you not, that is a true and honest quote) then a family get-together can be a testing exercise in diplomacy and self-restraint. It’s good to be back among you all and getting some real news instead of trying to glean the truth from the filtered versions we’ve been hearing for the past two weeks. No wonder the general population’s so misinformed. You don’t realise the extent of the indoctrination process that’s going on until you’re exposed to it on a daily basis for a while.
