Final Call: PM Gillard 77 Rudd 25

No bull, no guessing – we are the Dolphins – The Finnigans (The beautiful photos were done by @GeorgeBludger) - Michelle Rowland will not vote tomorrow, so the total will be: 102, not 103.

Our final count of the publicly declared support: PM Gillard 61 Rudd 19 with 22 Known Unknown. The question is how will the Unknowns break. Sportsbet is reporting the odds of PM Gillard $1.11 Rudd $6.25. Based on that we took the conservative approach and say the Unknowns will be break 70:30 to PM Gillard’s favour. This will give PM Gillard additional 16 votes to 77 and Rudd 6 votes to 25. That is our final call: 77 to 25

  1. So what are the chances of a Rudd miracle?

We have to suffer two more days of this drivel.

  2. OK LOL

  3. Can’t get on to Cikey because the conservatives have taken over. Basically they have sqeezed out the My Say’s et al.

They must see JG as a real threat hence their need to bring her down.

Still can’t believe that any ALP mp would support Rudds actions because that’s what they are doing. They are condoning his white-anting and deliberate lowering of the Govt’s standing in the polls.

Im angry enough to think that the idea  “faceless men” is projection by Rudd to cover the suggestion that his supportes have been bought off by vested interests.

It seems inconceivable that the are Labor supporters. Rudd’s conduct has been disgraceful

  6. How can Albo vote for Rudd, if he does, then get up in parliament and talk about all the legsilation that Julia got through?

I’d be incredibly disappointed if he sides with Rudd.

  7. Sry – yep the Cricket score… forrest 66 (96) Clarke 42(54) 2/124 off 28.3 overs (from Tasmanianiana)

  8. PM on now

  9. Go girl. :)

  10. I have the character temperament strength to lead country

    not celebrity big brother

persoanl attributes and strengths to get this done

I’ve delivered reforms that were difficult to implement

    much more reform to come

    skills/school funding – building on jobs/economy/change etc

    keep delivering health reforms

keep delivering on carbon price reforms – climate change and help families work through it (financially)

    national disability scheme

Have been speaking about two reforms here in Melbourne as deputy PM/PM

working with a character, method, discipline, over the longterm to get results

talk is easy, getting things done is harder – and I am the person who gets things done

of course elections important – I’m sure I can beat Abbott

Abbott has no ideas of his own

Asking caucus to support me – to continue delivering a Labor agenda, fair share today, building the country in the future

When Monday comes – a country will need to be governed.

  11. And the Croaky Vic20 has crashd AGAIN

  12. And the Croaky Vic20 has crashd AGAIN

Frank! Stop looking over there or you’ll go blind!

  13. Frank Calabrese

Of course it has crashed again. It is being clogged with absolute crap all week. They are a pathetic bunch.

  14. From the other place:

    Thought asmuch about Simleton

On Sky News this morning, Mr Danby named two of the journos apparently briefed by Rudd on his two-part leadership bid of permanent destabilisation:

Phil Hudson from News Limited and

    Mark Simkin from the ABC.

It seems only a matter of time before the rest of the names emerge.

So we now know how Simkins got the scoop in June 2010 the night of the Rudd rolling hit the media.

  15. That was ‘kick-ass’…. ummm would Grattan be 1 of the 4?

  16. myk42

At the other place. One of them said she looked beaten. It is going to be Rudd v Turnbull

  17. Julia really pressed the media to answer the “who Kevin briefed” question.

It has to come out. :)

  18. ruawake

Do you think it will come out? I am sure Barrie Cassidy will tell someone. He hates Rudd with a passion.

  19. ruawake, any news to share?

Loved JG’s presser! My favourite part… “Just fine.” Amazing.

She looked strong and assertive though I’m betting that the press will describe her as shrill and angry.

  20. PB is being overrun with Menzies house. Should we advertise this site over there again right now?

  21. Hey Frank

Isn’t your suspension from PB about to finish? – Go on I’d love to see you set a new record for a recurrent ban.

  24. PB is being overrun with Menzies house. Should we advertise this site over there again right now?

Victoria, when I left from there, I meant it for good. It’s been shit for some time in my opinion. The moment the management is more interested in “how” people post to each other over the substance and factual nature of those posts, they might as well put a “Hillbilly section” sign on the top and let any dickhead talk crap… which they have

  25. Frank calabrese

If you take a nuclear approach you will be banned straight away

Agreed, but it would be good if we could get some of the sensible posters over here.

I could go over and recommend this site for those who have had enough of menzies house types

  28. ruawake, any news to share?

Yep went to Aldi, they ran out of the liitle cheese kranskys. But had some nice orchids for my mum at only $4.99.

Filled the Merc up with petrol $39 for the fortnight! :)

Bought some chives, lettuce and parsley seedlings at Bunnings. Herb garden fantasies have raised there head again.

    Its raining.

That is about all the important news I know of.

PS Kevin Rudd will be lucky to get 20 votes, it seems the left will abstain.

  29. Damn, still banned.Let Manchild look lke a goose on Monday :-)

  30. gordon graham

    For real?

  31. I think JG’s presser yesterday and today were excellent.

The shackles of protecting Rudd by trying to do what she thought was the right thing are off.

Maybe new media adviser or whatever but if JG can continue this form then we are in with a really good chance come election 2013

  32. Vic…. don’t really care what they think quiet frankly ;) …. after this, all pressure is on the Fibs :)

    MSM orgasm (excuse the french)

  34. I personally thought Rudd’s speech probably more persuasive than Gillard’s, but that won’t make a bit of difference.

  35. Oh Dear The Hillbillies on PB won’t like that Morgan  :-) BTW George can you record the 405am portion of overnights – they had some professor of politics from SA talking up the sociopath from Griffith.

  44. Frank Calabrese

Yes it has been her trying to login

  45. So Manchild says to take Morgan with a Grain of Salt – how surprisement  – he doesn’t like it cos it doesn’t fit with his new agenda for PB.

  46. Frank, can you edit her username and add a password so she can login?

  47. Hey DTT only one Federal MP is supporting Rudd – HIMSELF :-)

Just in case you have ANY doubt about the electoral effect up here in Qld the phones and emails are running hot.  Heavily in favour if Rudd – ie mean HEAVILY 6-10/1 in favour.

Electorally this could be a disaster for Labor. In Qld if not in Victoria.

  50. I heard Alex Somlyay’s office is sick and tired of telling people Alex cannot vote for Mr Rudd. Especially when the callers hangs up in disgust accusing Mr Somlyay of being a Gillard supporter.

    Not joking.
